The Durston Container Kit is an essential tool designed for jewellers to create detailed, high-relief metal forms. It is compatible with Durston’s non-conforming dies (sold separately) and hydraulic presses, making it a valuable addition to your metal-forming equipment.

This kit includes a steel cylinder and a precision-machined pusher, engineered to work effectively with urethane during pressing. To use, simply place a Durston non-conforming die into the container, add your metal piece and a urethane pad, and then apply the steel pusher. This arrangement ensures that the press’s force is efficiently focused into the metal, yielding sharply defined, high-relief forms. The Durston Container Kit comes complete with a sturdy steel container, a matching pusher, and a selection of (three) urethane pads to suit various forming requirements.
