Durston’s DMR C150RE is a top of the range rolling mill for any jewellery professional. The mill is constructed from one piece of cast iron for maximum strength and rigidity. The roller length of 150mm, significantly wider than in most mills, gives extra space for a large flat rolling area, as well as 11 wire grooves. Each roller is specially induction hardened to 64 RC. The maximum thickness for flat rolling is 6mm, and the 11 square wire grooves range from 8mm to 1mm. The maintenance-free and self-lubricating bearings are protected with a plastic cover and support the rollers, which are essential for a perfect finish. The mill also includes four half round side extensions of 4, 3, 2 and 1.5mm. Each roll is made effortless with Durston’s industry-beating 5-1 gearbox which provides smooth power and transition through each turn. Safety features include a plastic moulding covering the top gears. This rolling mill is for the high-performance jewellery manufacturer who expects more from their tools.
