The 12″ Durston Bench Shear is perfect for cutting light weight material sheet metal for creating both large and small pieces. Straight edges can be cut up to 12″ (approx. 30cm). It is operated with a hand bar that is separate from the cutting blade, giving you straight and even cuts that do not distort you metal. An adjustable drop-off gauge that will hold the metal securely during the cut. The shear can cut soft and non-ferrous metals up to 0.5mm
The shear boasts a cast iron, rigid body with steel fittings making it strong and durable. The long handle provides good leverage to ensure smooth cuts by improving the ease of cutting.
